Mentakab is close to Temerloh, and is used as a stop over to and from Kuala Lumpur. It has got a railway station which is on the line from the northeast coast to the south of Peninsular Malaysia. There is a choice of accommodation along the main road or in the neighbouring town of Temerloh.
