Lake Bera is the largest natural lake in the country and the first wetland of international importance in Malaysia.   Excellent fishing, boating, kayaking, jungle trekking, orienteering and river safaris are some of the activities that can be done here.  Enjoy the tranquil surrounding of the open water as you go boating or cruise for hours the myriad of river channels to explore the vegetation and in search for wild life.   The Semelai guide is however recommended for every excursion due to the extensive and maze-like nature of the swamp, as well as its intricate waterways.
